Music and activism unite in a heartfelt tribute to the ocean defender’s lifelong mission.
Eddie Vedder, frontman of the legendary band Pearl Jam, paid an emotional tribute to ocean conservationist Captain Paul Watson at this year’s Ohana Festival.
While Captain Watson was imprisoned in Greenland last year, Vedder made a touching public plea calling for his release. One year later, the rock icon once again used his voice on the Ohana stage, this time honoring Watson’s decades of courageous work to protect whales, dolphins, and all marine life.
The tribute at Ohana Festival drew thousands of fans and ocean advocates. The moment served as both a celebration of resilience and a call to action.
